Gilly the "plummer"

Ok so here is the story. A friend of mine from high school just moved to Dallas and on Sunday she wanted to go exploring. We drove about 30 minutes north to see some antique malls/shops she had heard about. We finally get there and go into this shop. I could write a whole blog alone on the lady that was at the counter. She was in her 70's easily, but I think she still thought she was about 22. She had blonde blonde blonde hair, pulled in a side pony tail with a huge pink flower on the side. The was wearing a see thru pink sweater with a very black bra on underneath. To tell you the truth I dont think she has been invited to the new phase of Gold Parties to sell her gold, because she had enough on each finger to bring in a small fortune! ok so back to why I am Gilly the "Plummer".

we all know I dont like bathroom talk, but for this I have to tell you. Remember I am in an antique shop, things are old (antique) there. I needed to go to the restroom. The Pink lady heard me say I needed to go and yet she didnt warn me of anything or give me a heads up. So I go to potty, just like we all do, and go to flush. It wouldnt flush. So I am freaking out because I cant leave without flushing. So as my dad taught me (thanks dad) I lift the top off the toilet, and I see that there is NO water in the tank...I then proceed to investigate and see that the water is turned off. So here I am in a strange place being a jack of all trades, I turn on the water, let the bowl fill up and then I am able to flush....shhhhhhhhooooooooo that was a close one.

The funny part was, Jaime could hear me tinkering around from outside and she was standing near the Pink lady and the Pink lady never even said anything about helping me. Are we all supposed to know how to be plummers in a crisis...I guess so according to The Pink Lady! Oh and also while I was in the potty Pink lady asked Jaime to watch her shop while she took a smoke break!

Maybe something new!
